Our Story
QUYSC is a normal expansion of the existing highly successful project-based research and modular STEM education carried out by Al-Bairaq, which was established in 2010 by Dr. Noora Jabor Al-thani under the full-fledged support of Qatar University. The new center act as the main hub for the students to practice scientific activities besides facilitating access of high school students to STEM fields of education at QU. It will work closely with other existing outreach and short-term promotional activities carried out by various departments and colleges at QU to complement their mission and to offer maximum support

QUYSC aims to become a nationally and internationally renowned hub for school students that contributes to the growth of their interest in pursuing future high-quality STEM education and research at the university.
Mission
QUYSC's mission is to provide comprehensive, high-quality STEM education and research projects that advance knowledge in the field. QUYSC collaboratively acts across all levels of the educational spectrum at QU to recognize, attract, nurture and develop talent among Qataris school students.
