The Centre for Law and Development was established in 2016 with a mission of delivering law and policy related objectives of the Pillars of the Qatar National Vision 2030. Its legal objectives are aligned with the Qatar National Development Strategy, the Qatar National Research Strategy, the Qatar University Research Roadmap and the College of Law Research Plan. Its primary objective is to produce interdisciplinary legal research output relevant to the needs of Qatar. This involvesconnecting with other research teams within Qatar University and externally. It also seeks to develop capacity of legal expertise relevant to the needs of Qatar.
