Dr.Mohamed Osman
Assistant Professor Dr. Mohamed Osman is an assistant Professor of Mental Health and Counseling. He previously served as Assistant Professor of psychology at King Faisal University and Ain Shams University. In addition, he worked as visiting researcher at Applied and human Developmental Psychology division, University of Pennsylvania GSE. Dr. Mohamed has worked as an assistant director of Center for Counseling and with special needs at Ain Shams University. His research interest is in counseling, psychopathology, special education, and positive psychology. His research papers appears in international journal such as International Journal of Eating Disorders.
Dr. Mohamed is a member of many international associations such as International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). In addition, He has presented research papers at various international conferences. He has authored and translated some books and articles in the field of mental health and special education.
Dr.Sahail Asassfeh
Associate Professor Sahail M. Asassfeh, an Associate Professor of Curriculum and Instruction, has recently joined Qatar University. Dr. Sahail’s interdisciplinary program at the PhD level at the University of Alabama/ USA enabled him to gain insights into theory and practice within different areas of education, particularly curriculum and instruction, TEFL/TESOL, educational leadership, and educational research. Dr. Asassfeh’s experience includes teaching at the school levels (primary and secondary), academic supervision of pre-service EFL teachers, and teaching undergraduate and graduate university students in the departments of both (a) English and (b) Curriculum and Instruction. He supervised several MA students’ thesis and served as an external examiner for many Master’s theses and PhD dissertations. Dr. Asassfeh has around 25 publications in international journals. He also participated in several international conferences.
Dr.Yousef Al-Shaboul
Yousef Al-Shaboul was born and grew up in the countryside north of Jordan. He received his BA in English Language and Literature and the MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Yarmouk University. He started his life career as a teacher of English language in Jordan public schools before travelling to the United States, upon receiving the state scholarship, to earn his Ph.D in Reading from the University of North Texas. Upon receiving his Diploma, he taught at Midwestern State University, Wichita Fall, for one year as a visiting professor. Right after that, Dr. AlShaboul joined the faculty of the College of Education (Department of Curriculum & Instruction) and the College of Arts (Department of English) at The Hashemite University. He served for two years as an Associate Director of the Language Center, two rounds on the Committee of Queen Rania Award for Distinguished Teachers and on the Committee of English National Exam in the Ministry of Higher Education. In 2013, Dr. Alshaboul joined the AURAK family in the United Arab Emirate as a visiting professor. Dr. Alshaboul has many publications in reading, language arts, assessment, ESL/EFL, teaching-learning and family literacy. Now, he is an associate professor serving at Qatar University.
