Genetic lab

The genetic lab at ESC is working with both applied genetic research in plant and microbiology. In addition, we work with screening and monitoring soil biodiversity across both terrestrial and marine ecosystems. The lab is actively supporting several ongoing research projects and offer students at undergraduate/post graduate level, and post docs scientific development. In addition, we offer the possibility to either to work in ongoing projects, or to develop new studies. Current projects focus on soil biodiversity across Qatar, and the role of microorganisms in the decomposition process to be better understand carbon cycling in drylands.
